SHOTGRAMMAR
About

A shot library for people who direct models.

ShotGrammar started with a simple frustration: the best cinematic reference libraries show you a beautiful frame and stop there. When your camera is a video model, you need more than a picture - you need the words that make the model move the camera, place the light and hold the lens you want.

So every frame here is designed and tagged the way a cinematographer would break it down: shot size, angle, camera move, lens, light, time of day, palette, mood and sound. Then it is translated into the dialect of each major model.

Why our frames are original

We do not scrape films. Every frame in the library is generated for ShotGrammar and reviewed by hand, which means you can use it as a first frame for image-to-video, drop it into a client deck or a pitch, and never worry about who owns the film it came from.

What is next

  • Side-by-side test renders of each prompt in several video models.
  • Search by uploading your own reference frame.
  • Sequences: several shots that cut together into a scene.
