Golden Hour

Low warm sun just after sunrise or before sunset.

Golden Hour example: Summit

What it is

Golden hour is the period when the sun is low and its light is warm, soft and directional. Long shadows, glowing skin and lens flare make it the most "cinematic" natural light.

When to use it

It lasts minutes on set; in AI video you can have it every shot.

How to prompt it

Combine with backlight for the classic look: "golden hour, sun low behind the subject, warm lens flare".

Golden hour, sun low behind a girl in a white dress in a sunflower field, warm lens flare, slow orbit, 85mm.
