Film grammar / Shot sizes
Full Shot
Head to toe, the body fills the frame height.
What it is
A full shot frames the character from head to feet with little room above and below. Costume, posture and movement all read clearly, which is why fashion films and dance videos live here.
When to use it
It sits between the wide and the medium: close enough for character, far enough for choreography.
How to prompt it
Write "full body visible, head to toe" in addition to "full shot" - several models crop the feet otherwise.
Full shot, head to toe, a model in an oversized black coat walking toward camera down a long red corridor, symmetrical composition, dolly-out, hard fluorescent light.
